BIONICLE LOVE

Legos……………..what a familiar toy! Although, I did not grow up playing with them…..I have grown to be fond of them. You see, my boys have or still have them. They would get kits and build them………when they got sick of the “kit”, they would mix and match to make something out of this world. I know the Legos helped teach the boys dexterity, problem solving and creativeness. Daniel still has the Legos, but he loves Bionicles………………..really odd creatures that are kinda like warriors.

When prompted to use Legos as my inspiration from Child’s Play Blog, for this Lo, I used the Legos themselves. I used the colors and the actual Bionicles Daniel created. I also used a sketch created by none other than Ashley Horton over at Chic Tags. I decided to use cardstock on this LO to keep it plain. I wanted to let the fussy cut lego border take center stage. I used small bottles to make the circles.
