This posting is going to be short……………it has been a long week and a thunderstorm is closing in on us. We have been out on the tanbark trail……with our sheep. Bringing home Champions and top shepherd’s awards. Last Sunday, Dennis had to have emergency surgery…………he had his appendix removed. He is home and doing well!

Several years ago, we went camping at Lake Bomoseen, Vermont. Even though it was early July, we found it to could to partake in swimming…………….we did a lot of hiking, though!

My inspiration for this LO came from a couple of places. I fell in love with the August sketch over at Ce’st Magnifique:

I also was inspired with this beach scene from Scrapstuffz blog…………the colors drew me in!

Paper: mixed media paper and various scraps.

Ink in antique linen, tea dye, broken glass…..mist in brown and jack frost, gauze, tag, jute pieces, wire branches from Heather M over at Scrappin -Peeps. Proboards, cricut cartridge – Life’s a beach, fabric flowers, corkboard, black brads, black gel pen, pop dots, blue dew drops, letters by Kid’s Craft, Provo Craft and Authentique.
