happy

A tender moment between mom, Cassie and daughter, Isis.

Inspiration for this LO came from a variety of places. First, April’s Child’s Play challenges wanted us to use these beach sand bottles. Lovely!!! But, the colors really did not appeal to me so I decided to use the real thing………….sand. I stenciled a stone wall as my back layer.

The month of April brought Child’s Play blog and Scrapstuffz blog together. Scrapstuffz blog issued a sketch challenge using this fabulous sketch by Laura Whitaker.

It just happen that C’est Magnifique’s sketch was similar. Sooooooo, i tied the two sketches together to give the Lo a added umph.

Now……….combining all these fabulous inspiration pieces, I came up with this LO:

I used a variety of different medias to come up with this LO. I stenciled with gesso then sprinkled sand on top, misting, painting and cotton gauze. Tons of fun!!!!!

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog!! Have a great day!
